Software Engineer and
Since 2015, I am working as a Professor of Data Management at the University of Applied Sciences in Lübeck. Moreover, I am engaged in the Information Systems study program at the Wirtschaftsakademie Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel. Please don't hesitate to contact me, if you are interested in computer science related studies and a strong cooperation with industrial partner companies in Lübeck or Kiel.
I am teaching subjects of practical computer science such as Software Engineering, Data Management, Programming, Web/Mobile Technology, and Cloud Computing.
In the last years, I have supervised a variety of student theses with software engineering related subjects. Please contact me if you are looking for supervision of your thesis.
Self-Adaptive Performance Monitoring for Component-Based Software Systems (PDF) is the title of my dissertation at the Kiel University from 2012. Related research work can be found at Google Scholar or dblp.

After my studies, I have been engaged as a computer science researcher in the software engineering group at the Christian Albrechts-Universität (CAU) in Kiel. In the PhD time, I had the chance to intensify my research interests in software architecture and performance.
Feeling that my studenthood should not yet be completed, I continued with a master program at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (WWU) in Münster, where my focus has been on statistics and practical computer science.
Being excited about software development after school, I started a dual study program at the Duale Hochschule Baden-Württemberg (DHBW) in Stuttgart in cooperation with HP as the industry partner for my internships.
